The California Administrative Office of Courts has contracted with San Jose, Calif.-based Cisco to build a Wi-Fi system for 18 Superior Courts around the state. The Wi-Fi service will be available to jurors waiting between trials and in self-service kiosks for the courts' customers.

New Lenox, Ill., has contracted with Westlake Village, Calif.-based Zumbox to create a digital mailing system for sending official village communication to residents electronically.

Jefferson City, Mo., has purchased financial management, citizen information and utility billing software from Portland, Ore.-based Springbook Software.
